4. Nature of the service

ConvertiSlowed is an on-demand audio processing tool. It applies transformations — speed change, reverb, bass boost — to a file supplied by the user or extracted from a link they enter, and returns the result to them.

The service offers no content to the public, constitutes no catalogue and makes no recommendations. It exercises no editorial choice over the files processed: processing is triggered by the user, for their own use alone, and the result is returned to them only.

Files transmitted are kept only for as long as strictly necessary for processing, then deleted automatically within thirty minutes at most. There is no history, no user account and no sharing between users.

5. Intellectual property

The structure of the site, its interface, its texts, its graphic elements and the code that implements them are protected by copyright and remain the property of the publisher, excluding third-party components used under their own licence.

Audio files processed by the tool do not belong to the publisher and are subject to no claim on their part. Users retain all rights they hold in the content they supply, and remain responsible for ensuring that they do hold those rights.

6. Reporting unlawful content

Any rights holder who believes that content processed by the service infringes their rights may send a reasoned notice to contact@convertislowed.app.

To be actionable, the notice must state the identity of the complainant, a description of the content concerned and its location, the rights invoked, and a declaration that the complainant is entitled to act. Any admissible request is handled without delay.

Given that files are deleted automatically within thirty minutes, reported content has usually already left the servers by the time the notice is received. The publisher nonetheless remains available to discuss the matter.

7. Limitation of liability

The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of availability, continuity or outcome. The publisher applies reasonable means to keep it working properly, without being bound by an obligation of result.

The publisher cannot be held liable for the use the user makes of the service, nor for the consequences of processing content the user was not entitled to process. Nor can they be held liable for an interruption of the service, the loss of a file before download, or a failure of the third-party services the tool depends on.

These limitations apply to the extent permitted by applicable law. They cannot exclude the publisher’s liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, nor the mandatory guarantees available to consumers.

9. Governing law and disputes

This legal notice is governed by French law.

In the event of a disagreement, users are invited to contact the publisher in order to seek an amicable solution. Failing agreement, and if acting as a consumer, they may use a consumer mediator free of charge, or refer the matter to the European online dispute resolution platform. Failing amicable resolution, the dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
